Dental implants are titanium fixtures that are surgically implanted into bone. The procedure is surprisingly comfortable. Single crowns, bridges, and dentures can be supported on implant fixtures. Dr. Hodges has placed or restored hundreds of implants. Many implant surgeries can be performed at our office. We have a great network of skilled periodontists and surgeons for more complicated surgeries or for those requiring IV sedation.
Chelsea was congenitally missing two of her front teeth. These were replaced with two dental implants and two implant supported crowns. Temporary crowns were placed three weeks after surgery, allowing for comfort and a natural appearance during the healing process. |
