Laser tissue sculpting is critical to many esthetic cases. Too often doctors neglect to position the tissue in the most esthetic location. Tissue sculpting frames the teeth within the lips and helps create symmetry. Dr. Hodges utilizes the Waterlase to properly position the tissue and bone without flaps or sutures. Treatments are virtually painless and they heel rapidly.
This patient needed two porcelain veneers to restore her upper lateral incisors (smaller front teeth). They were undersized and the existing composite fillings on them were failing. Dr. Hodges opted to create longer looking teeth via laser tissue sculpting. The second photograph shows how much tissue has been removed and it helps to illustrate the estehtic gain. |
