Amanda M.Registered Dental Hygienist
BiographyAmanda is following in her mother's foot steps, both in a career as a dental hygienist and working for Dr. Hodges. Amanda received her degree in 2005 as a dental hygienist. She has been working with Dr. Hodges for 3 years. "I love working with people, I'd always knew I wanted to be in health care" says Amanda on why she chose a dental career. Amanda's favorite part of working in dentistry is her relationship with her patients. She loves that "Aha" moment when a patient learns something new about their oral health. "I love teaching patients about the oral health conditions that are affecting them and how to treat, and more importantly, prevent them. It's very rewarding" Amanda and her husband enjoy working out together, reading the same book and discussing it. They enjoy being in the outdoors, either hiking or snowboarding.
