Giving Back to Community

In addition to recognizing the importance of patient treatment, we also understand the significance of giving back to our community.  Any new patient who lists Birth-To-Three, Seabury School, or the Chris Elliott Fund as their referral source will have 5% of all fees paid donated to the corresponding organization.

As the parent of a child with Down syndrome, Dr. Hodges understands the time commitment and cost associated with offering jack1jpgthe best opportunities in life to a disabled child. Therefore, he donates a significant amount of care to handicapped children and their families at a reduced fee, or even no fee.

Dr. Hodges provides supplies and funds to the Federal Way Birth-To-Three branch, a program that assists children with mental and physical impairments from birth until three years of age. They offer many valuable services including physical therapy, speech therapy, and guidance for families. If you would like to make a donation to Birth-To-Three, please visit their website at www.birthtothree.org.

The Seabury School in Tacoma is an independent school for highly capable children from preschool through 6th grade. Founded in 1989, Seabury has approximately 100 students. Like most non-profit organizations, Seabury relies on generous support of individuals and organizations to be able to continue to provide excellence in education. Dr. Hodges regularly donates goods and services to the annual Seabury STAR Auction, which is held in March. If you are interested in attending the auction to bid on these services or if you seek further information about Seabury School, visit their website at www.seabury.org.

cefjpgThe Chris Elliott Fund, "CEF", is a Seattle based charitable organizations founded in the honor of Chris Elliott, who passed away in his thirties from glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer. The CEF is partnered with the Dana Farber Institute in Boston, MA, and together they fund research that may someday cure this aggressive disease. The life expectency of patients with glioblastoma has already been extended due to research and treatments attributed to these organizations. Dr. Hodges generously donates a Cosmetic Package annually to the CEF. All costs and time associated with the smile makeover are donated by Dr. Hodges, and the Cosmetic Package can be transferred to any individual by the winning bidder. The annual CEF Golf Tournament and Auction is held in Newcastle in October. If you would like to attend this auction or if you would like more information about the CEF, visit their website at www.chriselliottfund.org. Dr. Hodges was honored to be Dino Rossi's golf partner at the 2007 golf tournament. Go Dino!
