Alternatively, we can use our CEREC machine to design and mill your crown for delivery at a later time. Certain conditions require just a little extra time, but in these cases you are still only required to wear your temporary for a few days, which is a big improvement! In many cases your crown can be milled, stained, glazed, and cemented all in one appointment! We use cameras and CAD design technology to design your crown in a computer. The data is transferred to a milling machine that mills your crown from a block of porcelain in less than 15 minutes. We then characterize the porcelain and glaze it in a porcelain oven for great esthetics.
